We got a message saying that 229 wouldn’t defend the Capital.

I don’t remember a time where we gave up the capital like this, but I could be wrong.
Nonetheless, Zed said we will report to the mud and fight. But we didn’t have to go 100% as the capital will not be defended and who knows who would show up to fight. This was going to be against 228, really tough opponents (honestly, seems like every server is tough!).
There was a time when TCH1 and ARI were the alliances I remembered when 228 first came to 229.
Even though the Capital Clash was forfeited, FAFO and a few other still showed up and decided to fight. As usual, FAFO’s 27 and up were in the mud. A few of us with lower levels, reinforced. The opening hours of Enemy Buster is really a lot of zeroing, lost troops and replacing in the mud.

There wasn’t no formal plan, but we set up at about 9’o clock. 8818, GoVs and NEO1 started to port in and attack.

Everytime a base got sent, my reinforcement as sent back. So I would try and reinforce more people in the mud and there were times where players with Hercules tanks were sending my troops back. I would reinforce a base at the end of grass and when the Hercules started fighting, I would try to sneak to the next base.

When things started to slowdown, I decided to take a look at the Capital and see how many bases there were.

After that, I decided to call it a night. I would have to drive and take family around San Francisco in the morning.

I do think most of FAFO were looking for points and since it wasn’t a defended capital, it was just for a bit. Congrats to 228 and my friends there.
