SvS – Capital Clash in 230 1/16/26

229 won invading rights to go to 230. I heard that begining of EB reset, we would go over and start attacking and settling in the north part. I shielded in the north east part. Then we started clearing the mud in the northern part of the capital.

I thought we would have more FAFO there, but it was most of our “regular” fighters.

Maybe it is timezones and what not, but many people were still back in our hive (and other players too).

As the hours passed, we were severely outnumbered by a 5:1 ratio. This meant that the mud fighters would not get the reinforcements they need to keep fighting.

Another reason I say timezone played a factor is that some people joined and were in different parts of the capital. This would make reinforcing spread out and thin. I tried to reinforce people on the westside of the capital.

On top of the timezone of our players, 230 has a lot of Asian players (HSBR, Nova and Fuzz) so it was their day time, while it was our early morning (1am here in California) and they just kept sending rallies after rallies. A few hours later, 229 was outnumbered and swarmed. Many 229 players did not participate and it set off a bomb with our president.

229 lost the battle. 230 deservingly won.

Additional sidenotes:

  • A couple of MaN players that didn’t join Capital Clash, attacked 230 Sins when the battle was over and they were getting their diamonds. Zed zeroed them and told them to not attack 230. They won’t earn points as the clash was over.
  • PAD attacked Sins when they were setting up for Capital Clash, and so Sins made sure PAD felt it afterwards.
  • 229 participation was VERY LOW.
