229 is relatively a good place. There isn’t full on civil wars and most issues get handled quickly. The alliances there are actually really good, if anything, an alliance would be annoying and not participate in SvS (that was the main issue for FAFO).
FAFO is leaving, which leaves a huge spot for an alliance to come in. Let’s quickly look at what we know about migration.
While you can get tickets from the Glory Shop, it looks like a cash option will be offered too.
It’s Never easy
It is never easy with change or transition. But it can be exciting and refreshing to play with new people in a more interactive manner.
The challenges of starting fresh, in a new/rebuilding/rebranding alliance or in a new place as we head into a new season, can be daunting. But this is the challenge of you adapting and if I recommended you, it’s because I know you will do amazing in 229.
Sometimes a refresh is what we need.
Tier slots
There is a few formulas out there and everyone of them have been tested. The one we thought was the best seems to be based on stable power (from what I understand).
Tech and vehicle mod power seems to be the focus. T10s seem to be a huge factor too.
I do just look at what would be ‘Elite’ Level and to me that would be someone like Ombent
Advanced would be those that are higher levels, whales or whale like.
Medium – when we look at most of the active players, many are level 29/30. Above regular, but not super advanced like a whale.
Regular – most of the ones still working to reach levels, but mostly weaker in those competing areas of tech and vehicle (and hq level).
Again, these are all unofficial as NOBODY knows how it all works, it’s just through people that have experienced migration in the older servers.
The other half of the migration – Invitation.
I know you want your whole alliance and don’t want to break up the family. My suggestions are:
- Get everyone to at least be on the same page and explore the idea.
- Reach out the server president or group, TZI.
- Look at the members, their numbers and also find those people that are not contributing at all, cut them.
- There might be some bypass if you can’t get everyone with migration.
Bypass
So here is the idea. If you can’t get everyone with their accounts, then maybe some accounts that are being held in 229 can be given up.
- Find accounts that need an owner
- Build a 229 farm account to be a main account
It’s a hard deal, but I will be an example. I have my OG F2P account at level 27, but my heroes, tech and tank, needs to be worked on. I can give this account to one of my friends if they can’t bring their account.
That will be the sacrifice if someone has a slightly better account or if they have a Hercules tank for example. There would also be the sacrifice off someone that has 2 accounts and can’t bring the other one over to offer or give up that 2nd account.
Farms – We have a lot of farm accounts, some that people have built to be decent and many just pretty basic. I have 3 farm accounts in 229, one of my team members has 6. We can’t bring them and loot them like how it is currently, so I’d rather see them being used and not abandoned.
- Farm accounts will be less frequently visited due to the server range expansion. People will have to get used to not being able to loot them farms.
- Should farms be given up?
- Or people can do what I do, I co-op my farms with people on other servers. Have an agreement with an alliance (I have been honest with all of them).
- Build up a farm account to be a 229 main account, which this does take time.
- If you are our ally, I don’t see a problem sharing the farms with the alliance, especially if they need to rebuild.
Small group
Okay, if you are coming here because your alliance split or joined FAFO and I sent you this link, here is my idea.
You will be coming here under invitation and recommendation. I offered you this idea because something in your current state doesn’t look like a good playing environment (It’s a horrible player joining your state).
If that is the case, I did this because I didn’t want you guys to be in an environment that will impact you and I have some respect or I like you guys.
Take this Opportunity to explore
If you are coming from 2 of the servers that I am recommending, you will play in a much nicer environment. If you are good mannered and willing cooperate and collaborate, you will be fine. You can build in a peaceful environment and get ready for SvS.
Build new relationships and build the alliance even more.
Conclusion
I wanted to give this option to you. I do this because you (or your group) I believe can thrive here and foregoing conflicts in your current server.
