When a team member’s base is being attacked, you can reinforce it by sending your troops. Depending on level of the base, there could be a limit of 4+ people reinforcing.
Reinforcing a base gives it a stronger resistance against the attackers, maybe even making them lose more troops than they want.
Events such as Zombie Siege REINFORCEMENT is the key. You jump from base to base to reinforce.
During events where there is major battle, usually you have team mates shield up and then send their forces to reinforce who is attacking.
This helps whoever is attacking have a stronger base defense in case it is attacked.
If a base is defeated, you will have troops that will either need to be healed or have perished. But the damage to the attack will be dealt as well.
