This was an interesting sight to see. I’m an observant person. This was my assessement of what I saw from my team. But let me explain a bit.

FAFO

FAFO has had their solid foundation of players and they play with rotation most of the time. Makes sense as this game runs nonstop and there are players from around the world and different timezones. That is the main group. They have their system of doing things.

Former FTCL

Additionally, 2 weeks ago, 14 members of FTCL, myself included, joined FAFO. FTCL was a smaller, less aggressive alliance. We have our share of people that would go loot, but our leadership there limited the times and people teleporting and looting. People wouldn’t stay too long in other servers. So many were usually in small groups or solo.

Former VET1

This past week, we had, I believe, 5 VET1 members joined. This group had their own system of attacking and looting, so their coordination and communication was well thoughtout and has been done the last few months.

Former Shaw/others

I know there are is at least 1 player that joined the day prior. He was from Shaw. I also noticed maybe another person or 2 were also new members. I don’t know their alliances.

When Enemy Buster happened, Zed mentioned what he wanted to do as a group. This is where communication and cooperation worked. As with all Enemy Busters, rival from different servers will come. So there has to be a coordinated effort in defense of the hive and offense in the VS server for looting.

The morale is great in FAFO and I think that was a contributing factor that people or groups that haven’t really worked together intimately (we have to an extent in SvS), actually did and communicated well and learned to do things as a team.

With that said, we also learned where some miscommucations or some of the pitfalls with having so many members playing at different times.

An example was who we had a truce with. There was a truce called with 3 alliances before EB, but we also got an additional 2 other groups as the night (Pacific time) progressed.

By early morning and early afternoon (later on the apocalypse timer) people log on and didn’t know who we had a truce with. That wasn’t one sided either, as some of those alliances had also had members that didn’t know and attack at times, even me LOL.

This was a great lesson in team synergistics.
