After playing with the same groups of people for months, sometimes friendships build and sometimes personal vendettas happen due to situations.

FAFO’s intention is to leave 229 as a whole. With that said, there are some unfinished personal business with specific people in both FAFO and other alliances.

Each server has their leaders and in the beginning, put in place foundational rules so the server succeeds. Whether it’s NAP or just general server guidelines, these social contracts are important. Leadership chats are established and this is where complaints and other issues can be addressed.

One of the rules to getting a Level 6 city is to be in the top 3 ranking for 2 weeks straight. Shdw had fallen out of the top 3 ranking wasn’t eligable for the city. Then the insults flared up and personal attacks were said. Dirty Dan, Dirty Ann and Megumi of Shdw decided to quit the game. After they unallianced, they were attacked.

I hate seeing people quit, especially if it is an issue that can be resolved with cooperation.

FAFO plans to leave 229 and whoever is left, has to play together. This isn’t just the big alliances, this includes the small alliances such as Bad Luck Gang, Doom, FGHT…

This will happen on every server.

The change is when people do migrate and intergrate in a new home/server. Who knows if they are leaving hostile environment or finding a new home to grow.

The drama of tiles will be done. Even as we get close to the end of S2, people are still fighting over tiles for the end of season rewards.

Even though I am leaving 229, I wanted to try and help fix the issues, even though my leadership does have issues with DirtyDan (and zero’d him after he unallianced). While those 3 players are angry and rage quit… I can’t help but feel how the impact will be felt on Shdw. It’s an interesting feeling as I never really interacted with Shdw due to Mohammed attacking FTCL, but I did have a good interaction with Iron a few months back (from what I understand, he is also not playing as much). My idea is to try and get them to play and help support 229.

I’ve also been trying to help a couple of guys in Bad Luck Gang, as they are always targeted for farming. They have accepted a lot of players that don’t listen and don’t play as often. The handful of guys that are actively playing do need a break and a chance to rebuild as they can participate in fighting for 229.

It is an uphill battle with a most likely a defeat, but atleast I tried.
