One of my teammates asked how my progress was. “It is slow” I responded. One of the things I have decided to do is play ethically. It is a type of PVE (Player vs Environment) that is done in a war game. Tribalism is a huge factor is this game and how many of the people decided to play changes the social contracts within many of these groups.
Part of this game is looting or farming, other players’ bases in order to get the resources you need for upgrades. I have for the most part, forgone looting and farming. I watched a small alliance get destroyed by 3 different alliances (including the one I was apart of) and I just felt so bad for them as they just tried their best to defend and fight back… and that was a constant with non NAP alliances.
I’ve decided to try to be self sufficient with my base and even with my farms. I do see that I am not getting the massive amount of resources to help progress quickly… but I also feel good that many players that I do come across know that I won’t attack them without cause.
When I say I am rss poor, I truly mean it! I am also proud that I made it to lvl24 with keeping that looting/farming to a minimal (I was usually farming abandoned bases around maps).
