KisS migration to 229 was probaby one of my great achievements in this game. It was a layered idea: KisS replaces FAFO, we have an ally and I didn’t want to just leave 229 without trying to help recruit.
KisS
KisS are my friends and family in 226, which as been just tough server with a rich whale that just plays the game to be a bully and burns everyone. I HATE seeing my friends always dealing with a person that is throwing man child tantrums.
I was talking with my friend Viridian and she mentioned quitting if she has to deal with BT in season 3 (S3). I hate to see her not enjoy the game and give up. So I asked her if she was willing to migrate. The initial idea is that she wouldn’t migrate unless KisS did.
Let me take a step back, KisS has endured and sustained sooo much 226 drama and issues… that they pretty much are bonded by trauma. These bonds are built from adversity and survived multiple situations for them to still be here today (at least most and not the ones that quit). Additionally, when BT, destroyed another alliance S3P and made their leadership and whale quit, KisS took the remaining members and integrated them. Even with demotions of low activity and casual players, KisS still made a home for them in a sister alliance mixed with farms for protection.
I thought about their situation and figured it would be a good fit. Great players, good people and very diplomatic leader.
I came up with a proposal and also contacted 229 leadership to ask about the idea. While KisS was initially slow to respond (wanted to make sure nobody was left behind and ran polls to get a good assessment), they finally decided to try and come to 229.
They will fill in the blank that FAFO will leave behind, but also refresh the server with good players and possibly reenergize some of morale. I’m very excited for them.
GW debacle – I misinterpreted the situation and came to do some TvT with KisS during their GW. FAFO really fought KisS since it was a 231 thing. I felt so bad that I told KisS they could loot my 229 bases for RSS. This situation really showed how my friends in KisS are.
Conclusion
I have very good memories with many of the people in KisS, from tank dates to making William as a chef for the farm pfps to helping them get out of 226. That is one of my best achievements in this game. I’m super happy to see these types of comments.
I always looked at KisS as family. Never an ally with benefits or some superficial title. I have nothing but admiration and respect for KisS as they endured sooo much and are truly family.
Alot of my KisS friends are asking me to stay and I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Sometimes I feel out of place (my insecurities) and just some basic communication goes a long away. Viridian, Nyx, Tangerine, Eivleen Aline and Bibi have been very good friends.
This is from Reacher’s Chaos. This meant a lot to me. Originally he blasted me when Viridian and I were messing around.
This meant a lot to me. It is kind of a full circle moment. Equus was the 1st 226 player I chatted with. Before we had SvS with 226, there was a duel chat a few months prior. I remember saying hello to Equus then. He quit for the whole S2, and logged in before migration. I was glad as he is a good guy.
